A Class Act
Every year, Purdue alumni return to campus to renew friendships and reconnect with Purdue. For alumni commemorating their 25th or 50th anniversaries, class-gift campaigns are an opportunity to recognize what their Purdue education has done for them. Alumni can celebrate their years at Purdue by giving something back to the University and to future generations of Boilermakers.
The class-gift campaigns encourage alumni to increase their
annual giving to the University — or
make their first annual gift — in recognition of their
significant reunion.
As part of the overall campaign, classes also undertake a special class-gift project that benefits the entire University family. These projects range from student scholarships and faculty support to physical improvements to the campus. All giving to the University during the 12-month campaign period counts toward the class-gift campaign totals.
The 25th anniversary class activities are often held during Homecoming Weekend. The 50th anniversary class celebrates in April during Gala Week and Springfest.
