The university has just completed a $1.7 billion fundraising campaign, launched a major interdisciplinary research organization (Discovery Park), added 300 new faculty positions, successfully concluded a comprehensive strategic plan, and welcomed Dr. France A. Córdova as president. Purdue is currently developing a new Strategic Plan, to be introduced this spring, which will set the pace of activity at the university for the next six years.
