Annual Canned Food Drive

The Captains’ Table has organized the annual canned food drive to help the local Food Finders Food Bank stock their shelves each fall prior to the holiday season. For the past two years, the Captains’ Table has partnered with the Purdue football coaches’ wives to promote and organize the food drive. During one football Saturday, fans are encouraged to bring canned food items to the game to support the food drive. The food drive ends prior to the Thanksgiving holiday and annually has provided approximately 4,976 meals to families in the Greater Lafayette area and surrounding counties.
